Covent Garden London
The heart of London's West End
Peabody Estate Wild Street
We had our usual Christmas treat with Father Christmas handing out presents to all the children on the estate. Debra Stevenson and several mothers took 11 children to 'Smollenskys' for a Christmas meal with entertainment. They all had a good time.
We would like to thank everyone who supported us at our Public Meeting concerning Centre Point disturbances, especially 'King' Richard from Sarastro's who helped financially. We can report that things have improved since Tracy Whittingham has been in charge at Centre Point.
Our thanks to John Bos for his support regarding street lighting, rubbish clearance and advice as necessary.
We have had a good response from Peabody concerning bike racks, more seating with extra planters and controlling traffic on the estate, which is becoming increasingly dangerous.
We would thank Richard once again for inviting 25 tenants for an evening meal, which was greatly enjoyed by all. And finally thanks to Stewart Grant for his support.
Not a bad year!
