Covent Garden Community Trust

The CGCA set up the CGCT, a registered company limited by guarantee, to take on the task of realising the new 4,400ft ² Village Hall & Education Facility which is to be provided within the former Holborn Town Hall with its entrance in Stukeley Street, when it is developed.

The company has been dormant for the past year as the ownership of the Town Hall kept changing and hence the development of the overall Town Hall scheme made no progress.

It is possible that the coming year will see some action and the Trust will be extremely busy to ensure the new community facilities are built correctly and the administrative and management structures of the new facility are correctly established.

Those interested in this very exiting, though probably very taxing project, please contact one of the Trustees at the CGCA - Jo Weir, Ria Higgins or Jim Monahan. We are continuing to look for other trustees, in addition to the interest already expressed by the City Lit, St Clement Danes Primary School and St Joseph's Primary School.
