Swiss Bazaar

The most important Swiss social event of the year is taking place in Covent Garden.

On Saturday 20th November 1999 the Swiss Church at 79 Endell Street, WC2 will be the venue for a large Swiss Bazaar with excitement for all the family.

There will be a large sale of used & unwanted goods - a true bazaar, not just a 'jumble sale'.

All kinds of Swiss goods will be available for sale, including grilled bratwurst, sauerkraut, Swiss potato salad and home-made cakes! There will also be a raffle with great prizes.

The Swiss Ambassador to the UK and his wife will be present to 'liven things up' a little. Doors open at 11:00.

This is the Swiss Church's main fundraising event for 1999 - proceeds from the day will be used to restore the exterior of the building, which is in great need of redecoration and repairs.

Swiss Church, 79 Endell Street, London WC2 (just off Shaftesbury Avenue).
