Actor Steven Berkoff returns to The City Lit
Internationally famous actor Steven Berkoff is set to stage a special tribute performance on behalf of his former college, The City Lit.
The performance will mark the 80th anniversary of The City Lit, the adult education college in the heart of London's Covent Garden.
The gala evening will take place on 12 June at the Sadler's Wells theatre. Everyone is welcome and those who come along will see a remarkable performance, as noted by the nationals:
"dazzling solo performance" "a tour de force of comic gothic" The Guardian
"Berkoff's acting is larger than life" The Observer
The one-man show, Tell-Tale Heart, is based on an Edgar Allan Poe short story. In Steven's words, "it takes place in that strange, lugubrious world of the mid-nineteenth century, a kind of twilight zone where ghosts and hauntings are the order of the day"
We hope you can join us for this special evening.
To order your tickets of Tell-Tale Heart on 12 June (£7.50-£25), please call Sadler's Wells Box Office 020 7863 8000
