May 1st has come and gone but May Day festivities have only just begun! Saturday 5th May the beautiful Phoenix Garden is providing a home for the many celebrations of this holiday from 2pm-5pm. All ages are welcome and are guaranteed to enjoy the afternoon.

The festivities will include tasty food stalls where over-indulgence is definitely necessary. There will be plant stalls, bric-a-brac and games including giant chess, giant Jenga, May Pole dancing and badminton. Many prize winning games will be available, so get your competitive edge ready! And, for the amphibian lover in us all there will be frogs and tadpoles to gaze at and touch - if you dare!

One of the highlights of the day will include a raffle, where it is rumoured that there is a 99% chance of a meeting with Suggs from Madness as one of the top prizes. So you cannot miss your chance!

Another rumour has it that there is forecasted real and true bright sunshine for Saturday so….Can't wait to see you there!
