Oasis getting even better.

Covent Garden's Oasis Sports Centre is just that: an oasis for those wishing to relax or work out.

Important changes are ahead at the Oasis after an extension of the contract between Camden Council (which owns the centre) and Holmes Place plc (which operates the centre for the Council).

After the contract was initially awarded to Holmes Place, Camden has recently agreed to extend the contract until March 2005. This will now enable Holmes Place to make some important investments in the centre to upgrade facilities.

A new customer-friendly reception lay-out, refurbished changing rooms with improved ventilation and a new shower system will be introduced during the coming months. All good news if you use the Centre, but what if you don't? Come along and find out what you are missing out on!

Monthly or Annual Leisure Cards are available and will save you a great deal of money if you become a regular user. The Oasis is one of the most popular facilities in the area and can get busy at times. If you are able to avoid the peak hours, a morning swim in the outdoor pool (after 9am) can be one of the healthiest stress-busting remedies available in Covent Garden.
