Neal's Yard Festival

Celebrate Neal's Yard's unique character and 25th birthday, at the Neal's Yard Festival: Thursday 20th - Sunday 23rd September 2001.

EVENING EVENTS:

Thursday 20, from 6.30pm: Poetry picnic

Bring your own picnic, or sample some of the best vegetarian and organic food in London, and enjoy original poetry against a backdrop of live, improvised cello music

Friday 21, from 6.30pm: Brazilian night

Saturday 22 September, 6-10pm: Blue Bubble Party

The evening kicks off at 6pm with a techno-shamanic dance ritual led by Amoda, then chills-out with ambient music from DJ Danny as billions of bubbles blow about the yard.

DAYTIME EVENTS in the Yard include:

• Classical music, circus skills, fortune telling, face painting, and table-top theatre
• Free classes and demonstrations, including Pilates with Lynne Robinson (Thurs and Fri, 12.30pm), Tai Chi (3pm), and yoga
• Experience a relaxing or energising 15 minutes of bliss with a free holistic massage in the Yard by graduates of the Academy of Natural Health (Sunday 12-5)
• Advice on complementary therapies, including oriental medicine, homeopathy, aromatherapy, massage
• Discounts on products and food in the Yard's famous shops and cafes
