Licensing in Camden

The CGCA and Camden Council have organised a joint public meeting to discuss Camden's proposals for a 'Licensing Policy'.

The meeting will take place at 18:30 hrs on Wednesday 21st November 2001 in the Covent Garden Suite, New Connaught Rooms, Covent Garden.

The meeting is aimed at local residents and the CGCA has delivered a copy of Camden's consultation document "Night In Night Out" to every residential address in the Camden part of Covent Garden. The aim of the meeting is for residents to be informed about the consultation on a licensing policy for Camden, and for the CGCA and Camden to hear first-hand which aspects of 'licensing' Covent Garden residents are concerned about.

The meeting will begin with a short presentation by Camden's licensing policy officers, who will explain the consultation process and Camden's intentions. The main part of the meeting will be an open forum, where residents can ask questions and state their concerns, support or opposition. It is expected that the meeting will close by 20:30 hrs.

These are some of the questions that will be asked, debated and (hopefully) answered:

Doors open at 17:45 hrs. Entrance is free and all are welcome.
