Camden Council and Groundwork Camden are promoting a small-grant scheme which could pay money to support environmental projects in Camden.
If you have an idea for an imaginative project which will improve the quality of life in a sustainable way and deals with key environmental initiatives, contact Groundwork Camden asap. Projects must promote the principles of 'Agenda 21', be sustainable and have the participation of those who will benefit.
Last year, 20 grants totalling more than £18,000 were given out to a wide range of projects. To discuss your project, contact Gaye Galvin, Groundwork Camden, 114 Regents Park Road, London NW1 8UG or telephone 020 7722 7217.
The deadline for completed applications for the 1999/2000 Small Grants Scheme is 10th November 1999.
If you have an idea, but would like a second opinion or help with working out the details, contact the CGCA. We would be delighted to see how we can help you obtain the necessary funds.
