4.8 GRANT INFORMATION

Mandatory grants for full time students are paid by local authorities. Currently frozen at 1990 levels, the maximum grant is £2845 for students studying in London and living away from home. Increments are available for mature students (26 plus) or for students with dependants. Contact your LEA (see 4.1)
