Masterclass

Tickets are available free of charge for the following Masterclasses to be held at the Lindbury Studio at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden.

WEDNESDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER 6.45pm

DAVID POUNTNEY, the acclaimed opera director, will direct up and coming opera singers in scenes from an opera. Repertoire and details to be confirmed.

THURSDAY 21ST SEPTEMBER 1.45PM

SIR ANTHONY DOWELL, The Royal Ballet’s Artistic Director will rehearse two Principals from the Royal Ballet in Shadowplay, created for him in 1967 by Anthony Tudor. This will be a sneak preview of work to be performed in the House later in the year.

THURSDAY 21ST SEPTEMBER 6.45pm

ROBERT TEAR, will give a Masterclass on English Song. Repertoire and details to be confirmed.

FRIDAY 22ND SEPTEMBER 5.45pm

Choral Masterclass. SIR DAVID WILLCOCKS CBE, TERRY EDWARDS and ANDREW PARROTT will take a Choir made up of students from the London music colleges through some challenging repertoire. Repertoire and details to be confirmed.
