The Australia Shop

Koalas!

Inside

Aussie! Aussie! Aussie! Whether you are a native Australian, a wannabe, or just interested in the well-loved culture, the Australia Shop is dedicated to supplying you with a place to go and experience this beautiful country. For the past three years this specialised shop has had it's home in Covent Garden, being a constant supplier of those most missed items for those who call Australia home.

Downstairs is a little supermarket which seems to be the most popular reason for London-dwelling Australians to go to stock up on those ever-so-missed food items from home such as Cherry Ripe Milk bars, or Caramello Koala's. The ground floor attracts many different visitors, be it tourists, locals, or natives, with its supply of riding coats, felt stocking caps, Aussie playing cards, and didgeridoos, as well as books to learn how to play them. Every three weeks there is a new shipment of authentic Aussie goods, so one visit is just never enough.

Elizabeth Mills, the founder and owner of the Australia Shop in London, invites you to experience "...a little Australia in central London. Hopefully, all of your senses will be aroused. The sound of Australia (the sound of didgeridoo music is most often heard), the smell of Australia, and all of the Australian products will allow you to experience what it would be like to go there."

Perhaps that 18 hour flight is too long, or your holiday allowance is running a bit low. If you haven't experienced Australia yet, the experience is actually just on your doorstep.
