Covent Garden London
The heart of London's West End
Bang & Olufsen of Covent GardenMyself and Sean have opened this new showroom at 16 Monmouth Street. This has brought me back to the area after being away for 18 months. I was responsible for opening the Musical Images store in 1994 and am glad to be back in this area. Why Covent Garden? It is still the most vibrant/creative part of London to me. I love the "large" village atmosphere. Why Monmouth Street? During the last 4 years Monmouth Street has really had a positive revamp with the arrival of Musical Images, Covent Garden Hotel & a few other businesses. The flags at the two hotels give it a festive feel. Obviously some of Covent Garden will have a large numbers of tourists; but for a Bang & Olufsen shop the Monmouth Street & Seven Dials area has a good balance between office staff, residents, shoppers & tourists. The objective is to run a successful business and at the same time blend into the spirit of Covent Garden. Why Bang & Olufsen? The name is synonymous with quality and excellence. Bang & Olufsen products are created to be as individual as the people who own them. It is a joy just wandering around Covent Garden(which I have had a chance to do over the last 6 months) and your senses are always stimulated. I also note a change in atmosphere when I walk into Covent Garden from the surrounding areas. The diversity of the businesses in the area manages to offer something for everyone. Rahul Haria |
