Michael Wylde

Michael has lived in Covent Garden for almost 10 years, of which more than 6 years in Dudley Court, Endell Street, where he is the Chair of the Tenants' Association for the past 5 years. He was a member of the Executive Committee for 3 years and then took a break. He was co-opted onto the Executive Committee in 1999 and chairs the Residents & Environment Sub-committee, a position he held previously.

Michael is very interested in the environmental state of the Covent Garden area: the way the area looks, the state of repair of streets and pavements, cleansing, noise pollution. Michael believes that there are a large number of residents who need representation on a community-based organisation in order that their environment and amenity is protected. Michael is a senior citizen and particularly keen that their needs are met in Covent Garden and by the CGCA.

Michael represents the CGCA on the Westminster Amenity Societies Forum and is a deputy representative on the Royal Opera House Community Liaison Group.
