Douglas Rose BSc ARICS

Douglas is a chartered surveyor specialising in commercial property investment and development.

As director of Universal Consolidated Group he has been caretaker of the Group's Covent Garden holdings which included the Seven Dials Warehouse. His insight into the psyche of property people helps the CGCA assess appropriate action. Douglas is an advocate of creating harmony where possible through negotiation rather than conflict. Having a dialogue with landowners can sometime secure benefits which would not necessarily be offered through the formal planning/licensing procedure. He is on the Planning and Development Sub-committee and chairs the Staffing Sub-committee.

Douglas lives in Hampstead in the London Borough of Camden. His interests include gardening, theatre (UCG sponsor the Donmar Warehouse), comparative religion and philosophy.
